November 2, 2010 -- VICTORY !!
Contrary to press reports this was not an anti-incumbent public rebuke. Only three Republican congressional seats were won by Democrats. On the other hand, sixty six (66) seats held by Dems were won by Republicans. No, not an anti-incumbunt rebuke, it was a rebuke of the Obama, Pelosi, Reed agenda.
Locally TOPPER-supported candidates did very well with Tom Morrison and David Harris elected to the State House of Representatives.
In races with wider scope, victories were tallied by Mark Kirk, Bob Dold and Joe Walsh.
Thanks to the Palatine Tea Party for their support of Joe Walsh throughout the campaign. Grass roots support from local orgranizations, like TOPPER and TeaParty, do make a big difference, especially in close races!

Michele Bachmann thanks activists !!
Remarks to assembled Tea Party members in Washington DC were heartfelt and apply equally to all the TOPPER members (plusPalatine TeaParty members and all other local volunteers) who helped elect Joe Walsh and Bob Dold to Congress.
"You are the people who changed the world the first Tuesday in November. You came out. You rallied. You called. You e-mailed. You faxed. They wouldn't pick up the phone and you kept it ringing. You're so persistent. You ran for office. You phone-banked. You lit-dropped. You leafleted. You persuaded... There's a chapter in the American history books written just with your name on it.
The sun is shining down on us because YOU DID IT! "
We need to repeal Obamacare, slash the spending and restore the constitutional freedoms being taken by Obama and his cronies.
"This is insanity economics -- insanity politics -- and it's not representative of who we are in this rich, beautiful legacy of 234 years. There will be a new sherif in town, and this sheriff is going to listen to the American people, and if we don't, you better turn us out too, because it's all about fidelity -- fidelity to the Declaration of Independence, that mission statement, the glorious mission statement, that told us who we are and who we belong to."
Thank you, Michele.

Welcome to our Web Site...
We offer an informative, casual breakfast meeting on the third Saturday of each month. Guest speakers each month present politically important issues of our day with an opportunity for Q & A. We welcome new attendees. Please invite your neighbors and friends to join us. This is a great opportunity to become informed on the issues and to be prepared before casting your vote in the next election.
TOPPER History . . .
TOPPER started as a breakfast club to help unite active members of the Republican Party in Palatine with each other and elected officials in our party and has continued in that role from inception . Between 2002 and 2010 while Gary Skoien was Republican Committeeman for Palatine Township, TOPPER also handled formalities like recruiting election judges. With the recent change in committeeman, TOPPER no long answers to the name "Regular Republican Organization of Palatine Township".
TOPPER has united Republicans within not only the Village of Palatine and unincorporated areas of Palatine Township (which share our name) but also within the Palatine Township portions of Barrington, Inverness, Hoffman Estates, and Rolling Meadows. Related organizations include the Palatine Young Republicans and the Republican Women’s Organization. You will often hear these organizations referred to as the Palatine GOP, the Rolling Meadows GOP, or the Inverness GOP. The Rolling Meadows Young Republicans and the Inverness Young Republicans are part of the Palatine Young Republicans. This group is seeking like-minded individuals under the age of 40. For more information, on any of our activities or these related groups, call TOPPER headquarters at 847-359-5212.
