Tea Party Express Event
New Lenox, IL

                What a fantastic event, thanks to Tim Kraulidis, event coordinator.  Arrived at 9:30AM with thousands of Patriots assembled at the Commons Performing Arts Pavilion.  In time the crowd grew to 10,000 plus as this became the largest event held since the Express started their tour in Sacramento.  The second largest was in San Antonio, Texas with 8,000 in attendance.

                Interstate 80 was closed down with all the traffic attempting to exit the off ramp.  At one point the Tea Party Express Buses were tied up in the traffic and it was suggested they would need a police escort.

                This was a great experience, for all who attended.  People drove over 5 hours to insure they were part of this coming together of American’s with interest in smaller government, lower taxes and protecting our Constitution and freedom.

                The speakers and entertainment were great.  And the display of American flags, hand made signs, patriotic music was something no one could deny stirred them.

                Fox News, Grif Jenkins, covered the event and when the bus arrived we were able to meet him and watch as he got on top of the bus to begin filming the massive crowd.  ABC Television was also there, with a helicopter flying overhead.

                One fantastic day that no one will soon forget.
